The Livegan Podcast, started in October 2017 by hosts Kevin Lahey and Ben Le Roi, is a vegan podcast designed to focus on activism at the individual and group level. Kevin and Ben inspire listeners to take the next step, whether it be going 100% vegan or transforming from “quiet vegan” into “vegan activist.” The hosts passionately believe every individual is capable of making a significant difference with their own unique skill set. Guests originate from various backgrounds, professions, and possess different approaches, all with the same goal in mind; how to save as many animals as possible. Kevin Lahey is an ex undercover investigator with Mercy For Animals And Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth. Collectively, he has more than 4 years of undercover investigative experience, including working undercover in Korea’s dog meat industry and USA’s hog, dairy, and poultry industries. He is currently host of the Livegan podcast and author of the forthcoming book, “Why Love One But Eat the Other?” He resides in Toronto, ON with his wife and daughter. Ben Le Roi is an animal rights activist from Southern Ontario’s farm country. He has participated in the March to Close All Slaughterhouses, SAVE Movement vigils, Donkey Day, Scary Movie Challenge, and is a lead organizer of Nation Rising, an initiative designed at pressuring the Canadian government to end the subsidizing of animal agriculture. He resides in Southern Ontario with his two vegan children.
